New to reading IPO filings?

You don't need to read 600 pages. Here is how each company page is organised.

  1. 1

    Start with the short version

A plain-English take on the company and the handful of things that stand out, before any detail.

  2. 2

    See how it compares

We set the company's numbers against listed peers and add market facts from trusted sources, so you can see what stands out.

  3. 3

Go deeper only if you want to

Every number links to the exact page of the SEBI document.

Questions about IPO filings

Short answers about DRHPs, RHPs and how to read them.

What is a DRHP and why does it matter for an IPO?

A Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) is the document a company files with SEBI before its IPO. It runs to hundreds of pages and covers the business, risks, financial statements, promoters, litigation and how the IPO money will be used. It is the most complete public source on a company before it lists.

What is the difference between a DRHP, an RHP and a prospectus?

The DRHP is the first draft filed with SEBI and leaves the price and dates blank. The Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) is the near-final version with the price band and IPO dates. The final prospectus is filed after the price is fixed. Addenda and corrigenda add or correct information in any of them.

Where can I find the financials of an upcoming IPO in India?

In the restated financial information section of the DRHP or RHP. InnerKore IPO reads those statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow) into tables for every company it tracks, shows it as printed, and links every table to the page of the SEBI document it came from.

How are the red flags found?

We do not check what the filing says against the web: SEBI and the exchanges review the offer document. Some older pages still show claims we looked up earlier, graded low, medium or high concern with their sources. Newer pages instead set the company's numbers against its listed peers and add market facts from trusted sources. It is an automated screen, not a verdict.

Where does the data come from, and how often is it updated?

Everything is read from documents published on SEBI's public offer-document listings: draft offer documents, red herring documents, final offer documents and other filings. Filings for the same company are combined by its Corporate Identity Number (CIN), so an addendum appears on the same page as the original draft.

Is this investment advice?

No. InnerKore IPO summarises public filings so they are easier to read. Extraction can contain errors, so check the linked source documents before you rely on any figure, and speak to a SEBI-registered adviser before investing.
